Steffen Pothier dominates New York (A), gives up just one hit

NEW YORK (A) - Great days are rare. But not for Tampa
Bay's right-hander Steffen Pothier.
New York (A) found out the hard way that he is among
the leagues top pitchers, getting just one hit. It's
his 1st shutout this season, and the 10th time he has
done it in his career. Pothier (12-4) struck out 3
and walked 1, throwing 61 of 104 pitches for strikes.
'Pitching a great game is always a good thing. And
it doesn't get much better than today.' The hitting
star for Tampa Bay was second baseman Paul
Focht, he went 3 for 5, scoring three times with
2 RBI. Tampa Bay scored 9 runs on 16 hits.
